Most visitors spend 2–3 hours exploring the mill grounds, enjoying a riverside picnic, and walking the meadow trails. You're welcome to stay longer and set your own pace—there's no schedule to rush.

Yes. The Svēte River meadow paths are flat and well-maintained, designed for comfortable walking at a relaxed pace. We have shaded rest areas and benches along the routes, and you can easily adjust your distance based on how you're feeling that day.

We offer both! Self-guided visits let you wander freely, and we also provide structured heritage walks where a guide shares the mill's history and explains traditional milling techniques. Just let us know your preference when you contact us.

Bring your own picnic—that's the best part! We'll help you find the perfect riverside spot with tables and shade. If you'd prefer, we can also arrange provisions through local suppliers.

We have accessible restrooms, drinking water stations, picnic tables with shade structures, and benches throughout the grounds. There's also parking near the mill entrance, and we can arrange assistance if you need mobility support.
